In the beginning it was Railway stations that were the seeds that sprouted life around small towns and helped them grow into sprawling cities.
Today, it is undoubtedly Airports that accelerate the development of a city and make it a hub for both trade and travel. With the addition of a single runway, a remote island can become a tourist paradise, or un developed lands can have access to food supplies and equipment for urban development. In a self sufficient country like the UAE, an upcoming airport can herald a different kind of evolution, establishing it as a trade and logistics hub that connects the east and the west, along with providing a great stop over for tourists in transit.

There are many steps involved in becoming successful as a real estate agent, and standing out or carving a niche for yourself in this highly competitive yet rewarding market.
You may already know the more mainstream methods, such as mastering negotiation skills, prowess at math and logic, customer relations, advertising yourself in the news paper and the various other pieces of knowledge that will eventually lead you to success in your industry.
Let’s focus for a bit on that last bit mentioned above - Advertising yourself. Yes this area is not to be neglected, as any successful Real Estate Agent or for that matter, any successful business will have you know.

Dubai is a true melting pot of cultures, as is the UAE. The cosmopolitan lifestyle of the country is gaining world wide recognition every day. More tourists are being converted to residents, impressed with the way people of different backgrounds co exist and live here.
The foremost reason for this successful blend of cultures and lifestyle, is because of the foresight and vision of the leaders of this country. Another reason can be attributed to the business people with diverse backgrounds adding their unique flavor to the commercial success of every emirate in the UAE.
Dubai and the UAE has managed to attract people from different regions, to re-locate and start off life without feeling ‘homesick’. This is partly due to the fact that every day comforts that a person is used to and takes for granted in their home country, are available and replicated here.
A Basic need that sustains a multicultural Society:

The title is rather long, but well suited to this undesirable breed of real estate agents and ‘deal makers’ who consider themselves Real Estate Professionals.
While there are laws to protect a home buyer and investor, these laws are only now being enforced swiftly and effectively. However, this has not slowed down the pack of deceptive agents who had got a foothold in the market from the early stages, and like bad parents are influencing another ‘generation’ of real estate agents toward walking the wrong path. From the moment you set foot into Dubai, you get that smell of luxury. During the pleasant winter months there is a feeling that the entire city (Emirate) is air conditioned, even outdoors, as it is a fine blend of sunshine and clear skies.
The feeling of welcome to senior citizens starts right from their arrival at Dubai Airport, where the long transit walk is cut short by courtesy buggies and assistance.
Dubai Tourism itself does much to promote and pay heed to senior citizens to make their stay pleasant and enjoyable during peak seasons like the world famous DSF (Dubai Shopping Festival)
With the opening of the real estate market to non citizens of the country, it is no surprise that senior citizens from around the world have made Dubai a preferred ‘port of call’, and what was initially a shopping spree stopover, has now become a much desired destination to own a holiday home in.
While a handful of Real Estate Developers in the UAE are looking at this important segment of retired, holiday home seekers, we would like to introduce Real Estate agents in the region who have not yet considered this segment, to take a serious look into this growing market. There is something peculiar with Real Estate Agents in Dubai, (and the UAE). Many seem to be very comfortable and secure in an unofficial ‘Real Estate Agents Club’ for lack of a proper term. This is not to be confused with such organizations as in countries like the US that have the NAR ™ (National association of Realtors)
What is the Agents club? How did it form? and why is it bad? for these answers, read on…
We first came to experience the Real Estate Agents Club, after our email address was distributed by a generous spammer knowingly or otherwise, to the mailing list of one such anonymous member of the club.
Soon realvisionhomes.com was receiving close to 60 emails a day with property listings. Not proper structured listings, but generic emails many times with the same regurgitated ‘list’ of apartments interspersed with non relevant personal greetings from the listing agent.
