Help your Buyers find your listing - keywords
The reason you as a Real Estate Agent or an individual home seller is listing your property on the internet, is to be able to reach out to the right buyer.
It is also widely known that house hunters use either Google or search engines such as yahoo as their first destination when starting their search.
Proper usage of keywords that are unique to your property, in the title of your listing will go a long way towards your benefit, when your listing is indexed by search engines such as google and the others.
There are numerous times when we at realvisionhomes.com assist people who have listed property on our Online / Sms board here, by correcting the title of the listing to help it achieve a higher Google Ranking in the results page of a search.
Take these two example listings: majara II, 3 b/r op 234,999, sp, 345.334 available immediately or Rimmal 1 , for rent, 2 cheques, aed 123,567/- available now ….
What’s wrong with these two listings?

1) You are not directly targetting end buyers or clients looking for rental with this kind of terminology (the above language is completely UAE Agent lingo)
2) Even if you are targetting Agents with the above ads, chances are your ad wont show up favorably high on Google’s search pages.
Why? To answer that, lets see how a typical search is done by people on google
a) They type in the search box : Emaar apartments for sale in Dubai Marina or Emaar 2 bedroom for sale +majara ‘dubai Marina’
b) they may also type: ‘jbr for rent’ or ‘for rent 1 bedroom in Jumeirah beach residence’
Your listings above would probably not show at all in the results page, or if they did, chances are they would show up 5 to 6 pages later.
Optimize your Property Listings Title Keywords:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a full fledged business, with professionals offering these services to improve company websites etc. You can do basic Seo on your property listings by starting of with using the right keywords within the title of each listing.
The ads above would rank higher if they looked like this : For Sale, in Emaar’s Majara II, 3 bed, Selling price Aed 345,678 /- ….
or For Rent in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), Rimmal 1, Aed ……
This way no matter which of the common keywords people use to search, your ads would be found by the search engines having higher relevance. Of course, the content matter of the rest of your listing will also be searched, and indexed, but thats the topic of another blog post.
