Dear Real Estate Agent, is punctuality really that important?

So we will place this in the Uncategorized section of this blog till a suitable zone is formed (your suggestions are welcome!)

The team @ Realvisionhomes.com was invited last week to share in some informal chatter over coffee with some real estate agents in Dubai. Discussions were the usual, on where the market is heading… would regulations that are being put in place really straighten out and ‘professionalize’ the way the market functions etc…

Amongst this chatter, the only small discussion that lingered with us was a brief complaint from one real estate agent who was (obviously) new to the market here, but she was a professional. Why did we think so?

The reason was because according to her, people didn’t seem to respect time and punctuality in the industry. Her story was that on numerous times, she was called for viewings, but given the run-around by the buyer, who never intended to make it to the site on time or even show up.

Everyone knows that venerated excuse in Dubai, - The Traffic. But now it comes down to the art in how you use that excuse effectively.

This post is not about the art of the excuse, it’s about whether indeed this phenomenon exists or are these just a few stray incidents.

We have on several occasions faced similar situations, where clients(and sometimes even the ones who need you more than you do them) simply do not think that being punctual or, respecting such a thing as a person’s time is important. It seems to be the rule of thumb that if you are the one paying out the money, you win and can call all the shots! Time and knowledge is a cheap commodity for these people. Help your Buyers find your listing - keywords

use the right keywords imageThe reason you as a Real Estate Agent or an individual home seller is listing your property on the internet, is to be able to reach out to the right buyer.

It is also widely known that house hunters use either Google or search engines such as yahoo as their first destination when starting their search.

Proper usage of keywords that are unique to your property, in the title of your listing will go a long way towards your benefit, when your listing is indexed by search engines such as google and the others.

There are numerous times when we at realvisionhomes.com assist people who have listed property on our Online / Sms board here, by correcting the title of the listing to help it achieve a higher Google Ranking in the results page of a search.

No more selling off plan? Start creating Property Tours!

Is selling property in Dubai becoming a little harder than it used to be? Of course not!

There still is a big demand, and always will be, so what’s changed?

Well for one, the off plan properties are slowly coming online now! So investors and potential home owners aren’t buying property from brochures and DVD anymore. They are beginning to ask for images of the neighborhood, and what the interiors of the property look like, i.e finishings etc.

This will only be a growing trend soon, as off plan properties get converted to real world standing structures.

Need an example? Not a long time ago, you could sell a Jumeirah Beach Residence or Palm Apartment to a buyer by simply showing them brochures and computer generated video. You had to! the buildings were not up yet.
